We provide direct support in integrated program management, acquisition management, financial management, operations management, process improvement, enterprise architecture, enterprise strategic planning, systems engineering, and internal controls to our Space and Missile Systems Center Air Force customers in the Portfolio Architect Front Office, Partnership Office, Program Integration Office, Capability Integration Office, Innovation Office, Atlas Corps, Business Innovation Office, Development Corps, Production Corps, and Enterprise Corps. We also interact with the Science and Technology Office, AFSPC A5, and AFSPC ESAO.
Within Portfolio Architect, we deliver integrated program management support, international partnerships programmatic support, and project management expertise in handling high visibility requests/briefs, Congressional reporting, day-to-day tasks, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning. We provide expert financial management knowledge in cost, budget, earn value management, and scheduling as well as process improvement and internal controls. In addition, we are also responsible for executive administrative support, human resources, facilities management, and operations management activities that have cross functional and Corps implications.
Within Production Corps, we provide acquisition; foreign military sales; integrated program, scheduling, and financial support services for development, fielding, and sustainment of ACAT I weapons systems like the Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite network. These programmatic efforts ensure the military continues to benefit from these exquisite systems remaining cutting edge and operational.
Within Development Corps, we provide integrated program management; acquisition and financial management; architectural, engineering, and integration support for advanced space systems. In addition, we deliver systems engineering expertise for new research and development technologies associated with solid and liquid rocket motor designs. These propulsion technologies will lower the cost and improve the performance of launching satellites into orbit.
Within Enterprise Corps, we deliver acquisition and financial management support as we help advance the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) (formerly Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle) program’s capability development and achieve next generation space systems with both reusable and expendable launch vehicles. As part of space modernization, we will continue to achieve increase reliability and reduce launch costs as we adapt to the ever evolving requirements and needs of our military customers.
At SMC, we support the Financial Management and Comptroller Office as Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) team members. We help prepare our Department of Defense customers for a financial audit. The Department of Defense is overhauling its financial system and internal processes in order to prepare for its first-ever full scale financial audit. We also provide training, SharePoint design and management, and data analytics and data visualization building upon existing and future Government tools to help maximize mission effectiveness and attain continuous improvement.
